My very first Hands-on Experience

Hi everyone. I am a the new spring way of life advertising intern. As a Public Relations/Advertising major at DePaul University, I wished to acquire much better understanding behind the basics of marketing as well as advertising outside the classroom. These past two weeks have been excellent so far from discovering exactly how to deal with all the social network to experiencing my very first product picture shoot.

It was extremely fascinating as well as interesting to see exactly how each purse was shot. The folds in the leather greatly affected how the light hit the bag. If one fold seemed to be off then the whole picture had a unusual glare, in some cases appearing like the bag was smiling at you. There was a Mini-Lauren crossbody that appeared like it had ears sticking out of the sides because of D-ring hooks being directly out, so we folded them back. Luckily, there was a iPad linked to the primary camera, so we might promptly see exactly how the photo looked and make sure that the purse was centered as well as glare-free.

Each purse had its bit set of fundamentals such as the leather pulls that were connected or just all the straps. They all had to be similarly proportioned, so the shots would be consistent. We had to design the straps to make sure the adjustable ones were equal in length with our eyes. The fun part was really making them long and then we got them to shorten them again.

In purchase to make each purse look natural they had to be stuffed with tee shirts as well as in some cases they would be stuffed with a whole lot of them. I was trying to stuff the tee shirts in the bags by neatly folding them, however it didn’t matter. You actually just shoved them into the bag in purchase to have them look natural. There was even tee shirts flying everywhere, so all of us had to take precaution. just kidding, tee shirts were just thrown in purchase to make whatever go by quicker. The purses were even aliened in this hanger by colors as well as purse product, so they would be prepared to shoot.

I didn’t understand that a product shoot might take so long but I had a great time working with Brynn as well as Rachel the photographer. We even got to delight in tasty smoothies as well as I look ahead to many new experiences as well as of program seeing exactly how the final shots look online! however not up until autumn 2017!!!
