The best celebrity shoe choices of Paris Couture Week fall 2016
We are all in for a treat today, because it’s Paris Couture Week and our photo service is flooded with photos of the celebs that really matter: the fashion editors, of course. maybe Esther Quek isn’t a household name yet (or as much of a household name as an Anna Dello Russo might be), but you’re going to want to start paying attention to what she has to wear and what she has to say. Of course, Paris Couture Week is also flooded with your typical line-up Victoria’s secret Angels and Olivia Palermos, and their style game is completely on-point, per usual. here are some of the best designer shoe picks of Paris Couture Week’s fall 2016 attendees.
Adriana Lima
Gianvito Rossi Crissy Sandals
$397 through mytheresa.com
Supermodel Adriana Lima wore these black suede Gianvito Rossi Crissy sandals to the Ralph & Russo runway show. note that these exact sandals are currently half off at myyheresa.com. Take a cue from Adriana and pair them with a gorgeous, dark, metallic pedicure.
Cecile Cassel
Chanel Cap Toe Mules
Were you even aware that denim was allowed during Paris Couture Week? I certainly wasn’t, and I’m somewhat stunned to see someone flaunting their denim best outside of the Chanel show. French actress and singer Cecile Cassel paired her light-washed jeans with a black quilted Chanel top and Chanel mules.
Chiara Ferragni
Gucci Mid-Heel Loafers
$1,100 through Gucci
Blogger and shoe designer Chiara Ferragni wore these fetching Gucci loafers to Giambattista Valli runway show. Chiara frequently messages the designer details of each fashion week outfit on her blog The Blonde Salad, but this one isn’t up just yet.
Esther Quek
Gucci leather Mules
$1,100 through Gucci
Here’s fashion journalist and street style star Esther Quek leaving Chanel’s show in a pair of Gucci mules that are incredibly similar to Chiara’s Gucci loafers.
Jessica Chastain
Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps
$675 through Nordstrom
Jessica Chastain‘s look is very on-the-nose for a French couture show, but she still looks utterly fabulous, of course. Jessica chose easy Louboutin So Kates for her Chanel look.
Laura Bailey
Vetements platform Boots
Shop Vetements shoes through Net-a-Porter
On the other end of the front row style spectrum, there’s Laura Bailey, contributing editor for vogue UK (among other things). here she is reaching Chanel in black leather Vetements platform Boots and a pleated sweater dress.
Miroslava Duma
Russian fashion writer Mirosalva Duma wore these alluring, bright blue velvet mystery shoes to the Atelier Versace show. They look extremely similar to current offerings from Saint Laurent and Jil Sander, though they are neither, so far as we can tell. Currently, our money is on Miu Miu, but from an upcoming collection.
Olivia Palermo
Dior Crystal-Heel leather Pumps
Finally, here’s Olivia Palermo, wearing a pair of drop-dead beautiful Dior Crystal-Heel leather Pumps outside of the Alexis Mabille show. They pop perfectly with her studded leather motorcycle jacket. This seems like the ideal ensemble for any international fashion week, but who knows, Parisian women may disagree with me.
