A modern-day love story

Last week, the other interns & I took on the large task of counting inventory with Brynn. Now, I know what you’re thinking… “that sounds so monotonous”. but it was far from that!

I had no idea what to expect when I came into the office. I mean, I’d never done inventory before! (except for counting how numerous pairs of shoes I have in my closet, lol) but there were so numerous good things that came out of it!

The highlight of my day was without a doubt when Brynn purchased a pizza for our lunch break. because honestly, counting inventory requires a lot of physical work. between moving big boxes around and sorting though everything, we didn’t feel bad about treating ourselves to the cheesy goodness. I mean, we’d just work off the calories in an hour or two anyways;) and come on… spending a whole day surrounded by beautifully made handbags?? Count. Me. In.

A few of the numerous inventory shelves at the office…

After going through practically every single purse, the names of the bags and their colors are practically a second nature to me now. maybe that’s why Brynn planned on having us do inventory at this point in the internship… so we can become color name gurus lol.

But the best thing that came out of doing inventory is my newfound discovery of the color Watermelon!! Her Watermelon bags are a suede warm pink that remind me of everything happy. Flowers, summer barbecues, & dynamic sunsets are what come to mind each time I see a bag in this color.

Jenne Foldover Crossbody in Watermelon

Probably just like you, I usually opt for neutral handbags like black or brown. but something about the Jenne crossbody in Watermelon has had me daydreaming ever because I found her. outfit ideas to pair with the bag have been popping in my head for DAYS now… I’m amazed I haven’t seen them in my dreams yet.

I love wearing pink. (Who wouldn’t?!) It’s probably the main color in my wardrobe. So why not pair pink with pink?! I completely see myself wearing a light pink flowy dress with the darker pink bag as a crossbody.

Green… the complimentary color of pink. That’s all I gotta say. An army green t-shirt with camo pants would complement the Watermelon pink bag SOO well. and of course, a white or black outfit would be a wonderful staple to make the Watermelon color seriously pop!

All I know is, I’m certainly going to be posting some “Perfect Pairings” on our Instagram story with the Jenne in Watermelon soon. I just can’t stop thinking about what I would pair with it!! Honestly, I think this is a sign that I need to just rip the band-aid and purchase her already!
