Is A Crossbody Hobo Bag For You?

The hobo bag is predicted to be one of the trendiest handbag styles for the year, thanks to its convenience, comfort, and distinct shape.  Of course, we don’t think they were ever out of style, but then again we’ve been making our own twist on the classic hobo style for years. So I’m pleased to see much more and much more women choosing this style from our collection!

When I originally developed our hobo style, I started with the classic shape, added some large O-ring hardware, and a front angled zipper for modern day functionality. The style, known much more as a take on bag, was easy to throw over your take on and get on with your day, thanks to its soft and comfortable design. When she debuted, I already developed and crafted so numerous crossbody bags, I thought this was the ideal addition to the collection.

But like with anything in the 21st century, many women wanted a hands-free option (i.e. a crossbody strap). So I chose to make a smaller size and turn her into a crossbody! The essential was to make the strap the ideal length, so you can still wear her under your arm like the original style, but also sling her across your body and make her adjustable for everything in between too!

Our Hobo crossbody bags still have the classic shape, fits all of your essentials without looking bulky and is very comfortable with her good broad adjustable crossbody strap. I found this very amazing hardware to set her apart as well. then between the inside open media pockets and the outside zipper pocket, you can organize your small need to find items easily, especially your smart phone. To me, I love her in our suede leather the most! There’s something about the way suede lays that adds that extra laidback feel, like the true original she was named after.
